About me
Jill Smith has served as a forensic imaging specialist with York Regional Police (Ontario, Canada) for 34 years and has been working on digital image enhancement of impression evidence since 1999. She has been published several times in the Journal of Forensic Identification, co-authored book, “Forensic Digital Image Processing – Optimization of Impression Evidence”, and served on the IAI Forensic Photography & Imaging Certification Board from 2013 to 2017. Smith has lectured and instructed at the Ontario Police College, as well as across the United States for over 10 years.
